To experience an involuntary gag reflex without actually vomiting. Workers use this term when confronted with severe workplace hazards like rancid coolant sumps, blocked grease traps or rotting organic matter. It serves as a physical indicator that a workspace lacks adequate ventilation or requires immediate biohazard protocols.
