Privacy policy

Insiders Lingo is a reference site. You can read every page without an account, and we keep the information we handle about readers to a minimum.

What we collect

• Server logs. Like every web server, ours records the IP address, browser type, requested page and referring page for each request. We use these logs to keep the site running, secure and fast. They are rotated out automatically.
• Forms. When you add a word or send a message, we store what you type into the form. Your name and email are optional on the add-a-word form and are used only to follow up on your submission.

What we do not do

• No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics and no tracking cookies.
• No selling, renting or sharing of personal information.
• No account system and no passwords to store.

Cookies and local storage

The site sets no cookies. Search runs in your browser using a file downloaded from this site.
