A short section of pipe used to protect wires passing through a wall or floor.

A protective tube, often a piece of EMT or rigid conduit, installed through a concrete slab, wall, or framing member. Cables are pulled through this passage to prevent the rough edges of the structure from damaging the wire insulation. It also allows for easier wire replacement in the future.
