Wiremold is the brand name used for surface raceway: shallow metal or plastic channels with a base and a snap-on cover, run along finished walls and ceilings where wiring cannot be concealed. Small sizes carry a few conductors to a receptacle or switch added on a block or plaster wall, and larger two-compartment versions carry power and data side by side. It comes with matching elbows, boxes and device plates.
Plaster walls in the old school can't be fished, run Wiremold from the existing box along the baseboard to the new outlet.
