Off-ratio material comes from an uneven start on a dual cartridge, a blocked side, an air bubble in a pump line or a worn meter. It may cure soft, cure slowly, stay sticky or turn brittle, and the problem often shows only when parts fail or squeeze-out stays gummy. Lines run ratio checks by dispensing each side separately into cups and weighing.
Whole shift's parts were off-ratio, the B side pump's been sucking air since the drum change.
After any drum change or pump repair, run a ratio check into cups before the first production part.
