Silane-modified polymers combine a polyether or polyurethane backbone with silane end groups that crosslink with moisture. They bond metal, plastics, wood and glass without primers in many cases, stay elastic, can be painted and contain no free isocyanate, which makes them popular in vehicle body building, construction and marine work. Cure speed depends on humidity and bead depth.
Run a bead of the MS polymer down the side panel seam, it'll take paint tomorrow.
