Angel hair forms when hot melt pulls into fibers between the nozzle and the part, much like spun sugar. It coats guards and sensors, contaminates products and makes a mess on high-speed lines. Causes include glue that is too cool, a nozzle too far from the substrate, high line speeds, worn nozzles and adhesive grades prone to stringing.
Angel hair all over the case erector again, check the tank temp and pull the nozzle in closer.
