Sausage packs, commonly 20 ounces or about 600 milliliters, hold more sealant than a standard cartridge and leave only a small crumpled wrapper as waste. The crew snips the clip, drops the sausage in a barrel gun and screws on the nozzle. On large facade jobs nearly all the sealant comes in sausages or bulk pails.
