Non-sag (gun grade) sealants have a paste consistency that holds its shape in vertical joints and soffits until it cures. Pourable or self-leveling grades flow flat and are used for horizontal joints in slabs and plazas. Sealants are graded NS or P under ASTM C920. Using a self-leveling grade in a wall joint runs out of the joint; using a non-sag grade on a slab leaves a lumpy, poorly tooled surface.
Bring the non-sag for the soffit joints and the SL for the deck, don't send me the same cases for both.
