Everyday sprayer word for applying a coating: shoot the bond coat, shoot a coupon, shoot it to 0.012. It covers the whole run from light off through the final pass. Supervisors use it for scheduling too, as in what is getting shot on second shift, and a part that has been shot is coated but not yet finished.
Shoot the coupons first, then the rods, and don't take the tape off till I check thickness.
