A historic tabletop printing and typesetting device designed for in-house corporate use. It features a grooved drum where individual metal type characters are slid into place, often via a semi-automatic keyboard. The drum then rotates against an inked ribbon or direct ink rollers to print circulars, letters, or forms onto paper fed through the machine.
