An aerated chemical blanket used to smother fires, suppress vapors, and cool surfaces.

A mixture of water, foam concentrate, and air that produces a thick, bubbly blanket. It is primarily used on Class B flammable liquid fires to separate the fuel from oxygen and suppress explosive vapors, or in Class A applications to break water's surface tension and soak deeply into ordinary combustibles.
