SODIMM stands for small-outline dual in-line memory module. It is a printed circuit board populated with RAM chips, roughly half the physical size of a standard desktop DIMM. SODIMMs use a high-density edge connector that slides into a low-profile socket, making them the standard memory expansion format for notebook computers, mini-PCs, and embedded systems.
We need to order a batch of 16-gigabyte DDR4 SODIMMs to upgrade the new engineering laptops.
