A technique used to lock the seams of corrugated metal decking or standing seam roofs. A specialized tool creates a small indentation through multiple layers of sheet metal, locking them tightly without the need for screws or rivets. This method provides shear strength to the deck before a concrete slab is poured over it.
Go ahead and button punch those deck seams every two feet so they don't shift when we pour.
