Peel-and-stick

adjectiveShop talkAdhesives

Describing any product with a ready-coated pressure-sensitive adhesive under a liner that goes on without tools.

Peel-and-stick covers labels, pads, feet, gaskets, mounting tapes and flooring sold with PSA already applied. Buyers like it because there is nothing to mix, dispense or cure; engineers know it lives or dies on surface prep, temperature and dwell. It also signals a part that can be supplied as a die-cut kit from a converter.
