Peel-and-stick sheets go on cold: the installer pulls the liner, sets the sheet and rolls it down. They are used for foundation walls, window and door flashing, roof underlayment and through-wall flashing. Adhesion depends heavily on primer, temperature and a clean, dry substrate, and the asphalt types soften in heat and stiffen badly in cold.
Prime the CMU first or that peel-and-stick will be on the ground by lunch.
