Swage nipples do the same job as a reducer but in small bore and with a choice of end preparation on each side, written as combinations like BLE by TSE for beveled large end and threaded small end. They come concentric or eccentric. Fitters nearly always say it as swedge, and they use swages to step down to instrument connections, drains and vents.
Order a 2 by 3/4 swage, beveled large end by threaded small end, and a bull plug to go with it.
