Fast, light blasting at low pressure or long distance, used to reactivate a blasted surface that has sat past its spray window, to roughen an existing coating before the next layer, or to clean loose overspray off adjacent areas. It is not meant to remove sound material, so operators keep the nozzle moving and the pressure low.
