Lab technicians and cleanroom workers use this method to attach a disposable pipette tip or sterile tool to a handle. By peeling the wrapper back just enough to expose the mounting end, the operator keeps the working tip completely protected from airborne particles and skin contact. Pushing the handle directly into the exposed base ensures a tight friction fit before the rest of the wrapper is discarded.
Make sure you feather the pipette wrapper before jamming it onto the dispenser so we don't contaminate the batch.
Touching the working end of the instrument after feathering the wrapper defeats the entire purpose of the technique.
