This directive tells a board operator or technician to push a dimmer channel or fixture to full intensity. In live event production, it is often used during focus calls or when a designer needs to see the absolute maximum punch a unit can deliver. It stems from the physical action of pushing a fader to the top of its travel.
Crank it on channel twelve so I can see where the center of the beam is hitting the drum riser.
