Individual sheets or planks of material used to construct formwork. They are typically made of dimensional lumber, exterior-grade plywood, or specialized composite panels coated to resist moisture and prevent sticking. They must be stiff enough to withstand the hydrostatic pressure of wet mud without bowing.
