A pump truck that pushes concrete with twin hydraulic pistons through a steel pipeline carried on an articulating boom, with reaches from about 20 m to beyond 60 m and output of 100 yards an hour or more. The operator runs it from a belly-box remote while a hose man guides the rubber end hose. For smaller jobs a trailer-mounted line pump pushes pea gravel mixes through hose laid on the ground.
Set the boom pump on the north side, the 38 meter just reaches the far corner with the outriggers down.
Pumpers name their trucks by boom length in meters, so a forty-seven is a 47 m boom, not a model number.
