The estimated number of hours and minutes a mobile device can continuously transmit and receive a voice call before the battery is depleted. It is a standard metric used to evaluate battery performance, distinct from standby time. In a billing context, it can also refer to the amount of prepaid voice minutes remaining on a subscriber's account.
The spec sheet says it has ten hours of talk time, but out in the fringe area it dies in four.
