A throwbot is a small, impact-resistant tactical robot used by military and SWAT units for remote reconnaissance. The operator physically throws the device through a window or over a wall, where it lands, rights itself, and begins transmitting video and audio. They are typically two-wheeled, dumbbell-shaped devices built to survive heavy drops and harsh impacts without losing functionality.
