A tool storage and issue point within the radiologically controlled area, stocked with tools that are contaminated or likely to become so. Keeping them inside avoids repeated decontamination and release surveys and keeps contamination contained. Tools are bagged, tagged with survey results and logged out and back in, and anything with a hot spot is shielded or set aside for decon.
Get a torque wrench from the hot tool crib, don't bring a clean one in for this job.
