A brand name that has become generic for the tough, fabric-reinforced plastic sheeting used inside radiological areas. Crews lay it on floors before opening a contaminated system, wrap tools and components in it, and build tents and catch containments from it. At the end of the job the herc is rolled up from the clean edge inward and bagged as radwaste, taking most of the loose contamination with it.
Lay herculite from the pump to the step-off pad before you crack that flange.
