An isolated, exceptionally rich pocket of ore found within a vein or the surrounding host rock.

This localized concentration of valuable minerals occurs where structural or chemical conditions caused sudden, heavy deposition. Unlike a continuous lode, these pockets are irregular and discontinuous, making them difficult to predict through standard drilling. Miners often rely on following structural clues to locate these high-grade patches.
