Air hose

nounStandard termMechanical

A flexible tube designed to carry compressed air from a compressor to pneumatic tools or actuators.

Manufactured from reinforced rubber, polyurethane, or PVC, these lines route pressurized air through a workshop or machine chassis. They must withstand high internal pressure, repeated flexing, and exposure to shop fluids without degrading or bursting.
