The lower oscillating screen located inside the cleaning shoe of a combine harvester, sitting directly below the chaffer. It has smaller openings than the upper sieve and is responsible for the final filtration of the crop. Clean grain falls through it into the auger, while unthreshed heads or larger debris ride over the top and are sent back to the threshing drum via the tailings elevator.
Pull the cleaning sieve and check for bent louvers, we're getting way too much trash in the grain tank.
