Passthrough

nounStandard termElectronics

A connection or mode that routes a signal directly from an input to an output without altering it.

A passthrough is a physical port or a software-controlled mode that allows an incoming electrical or data signal to exit the device exactly as it arrived. It is heavily used in test equipment, video processing, and daisy-chained networks to allow one signal source to feed multiple devices in series without introducing processing delay or degradation.

Set the capture card to video passthrough so the monitor doesn't get any latency from the scaler.
