An inverting function flips the state or polarity of an electrical signal. In digital logic, it turns a high state into a low state and vice versa. In analog electronics, an inverting amplifier configuration shifts the phase of an AC signal by 180 degrees or reverses the polarity of a DC voltage.
We can use the spare op-amp to build an inverting function and flip that negative control voltage.
