Logic low

nounStandard termElectronics

The lower of two voltage states used to represent a binary zero in a digital circuit.

In a binary system, this is the voltage level that represents a boolean false or a digital 0. It is usually close to ground potential. For 5V TTL logic, any voltage below 0.8 volts is reliably interpreted as a low state.

Tie that unused enable pin to logic low so the chip doesn't randomly activate from noise.
