A controlled-controlled-NOT gate is a logic gate used in reversible computing and quantum circuits.

A controlled-controlled-NOT gate, or Toffoli gate, flips its target qubit only if both control qubits are set to a logic high. It is a universal reversible logic gate, meaning any reversible boolean function can be constructed entirely from these gates. It prevents information loss during computation, which is a strict requirement for quantum circuit design.
