Describes a switch or circuit that transitions from open to closed without generating multiple rapid contact signals. Mechanical switches inherently bounce, creating false triggers in digital logic, so bounceless circuits use hardware latches or software delays to output a single, clean edge.
We need a bounceless switch for the interrupt pin, or it will trigger the routine a dozen times per press.
