Rebarred is a field term indicating that a form, trench, or deck has had all its required reinforcing steel placed, tied, and inspected. When a section is fully rebarred, it means the rod busters have finished their work and the area is ready for the concrete crew to pour the mud.
The footing is completely dug and rebarred, so tell the batch plant to send the first truck.
Never order the mud until the inspector has signed off on the rebarred section, as missing steel requires immediate rework.
