A specially shaped tile designed to cap the apex of a pitched roof.

A V-shaped, rounded, or angled roofing unit placed over the intersection of two sloping roof planes. It seals the joint against water intrusion and provides a finished appearance to the roofline. They are typically bedded in mortar or mechanically fastened.
