Heating tip with many small orifices that produces a broad, bushy flame, used for preheating thick joints, bending and straightening steel and freeing seized bolts and bearings. It burns far more gas than a cutting tip, so acetylene rosebuds need large or manifolded cylinders to stay within safe draw rates, and propane is common for big heating jobs. The name comes from the flower-like flame cluster.
Grab the rosebud and get that flange up to 300 before you start, it's two inches thick.
