Shop name for thermal spray in field corrosion work, bridge specs and general job shops. It usually means arc or flame spraying of zinc, aluminum or zinc-aluminum onto blasted steel, often followed by a sealer or paint. Technical documents say thermal spray, but many crews call themselves metallizers.
Spec says metallizing on all the splash-zone steel, so that's TSA and a seal coat, not galvanizing.
