An uplead is the physical cable or wire that routes radio frequency power from a ground-level transmitter up to the radiating antenna element. In high-power broadcast stations, the uplead must be carefully matched in impedance to minimize standing waves and prevent power from reflecting back into the transmitter.

Check the uplead for moisture ingress, the VSWR spiked right after the storm.
