A signal is transmissible if it meets the physical and protocol requirements of the medium it is traversing. This means it falls within the correct frequency band, adheres to the required modulation scheme, and complies with power limits. If a signal lacks proper encoding or exceeds bandwidth constraints, it will be rejected by the equipment or heavily distorted in transit.
The raw video feed isn't transmissible over the satellite link until we compress it and wrap it in an MPEG transport stream.
