An older European type size measuring approximately 7.5 Didot points.

Small text is a historic type size used primarily in French and Italian printing traditions, measuring roughly 7.5 points on the Didot scale. It falls between the sizes traditionally known as minion and brevier in the Anglo-American system. Printers utilized this compact size for bibles, pocket dictionaries, and classified newspaper advertisements where maximizing word density was essential.
