A data logger in an insulated case rides the line with thermocouple leads attached to parts and to the air. The resulting curve shows how long each point takes to come up to temperature and how long it stays there, which is compared against the powder's cure window. Shops profile at setup, after any oven or line change, and on any new heavy or mixed part load.
Run an oven profile on the new frames, three probes on the thick tube and one in the air.
Profile the heaviest part on the heaviest rack load to prove cure, then check the lightest part for overbake.

Related terms
PMT
Part metal temperature, the temperature of the substrate itself, which is what actually drives the cure.
Cure schedule
The time at temperature a powder needs to cure fully, measured at the part's metal, not the oven air.
Ramp
The heat-up time a part needs in the oven before it reaches cure temperature and the cure clock starts.
Line speed
How fast the conveyor moves, in feet per minute, which sets washer time, spray time and oven time all at once.
