Printed circuit board

nounStandard termPCBs

A laminated sandwich of insulating material and conductive copper routing used to mount and connect electronic components.

The foundational structure of most electronic devices. It consists of alternating layers of non-conductive substrate and etched copper foil, providing both mechanical support and electrical pathways for components. The bare board is fabricated first, then populated with parts during assembly.
