Each injector holds a strip drilled with a row of tiny holes, typically around 0.1 to 0.15 mm, that shape the water into fine jets. Strips plug from scale, stray fibers or bacterial slime, and each plugged or damaged hole leaves a streak in the fabric. Crews swap strips on a schedule, inspect them under a microscope and keep water filtration spotless to stretch their life.
Jet streak at 80 centimeters again, pull the strip on injector four and put it under the scope.
