In a calibration program, recall is the scheduling process, usually a database, that lists instruments approaching their due date and calls them back from the floor, customers or other sites. A recall report shows what is due in the next 30 days, what is overdue and where each item lives. The on-time recall rate is a standard metric for a calibration program's health.
