Threading on a lathe by feeding a tool ground or inserted to the thread form along the work in sync with spindle rotation, taking several passes at increasing depth. On manual lathes the compound is set at 29 to 30 degrees for 60 degree threads so the tool cuts mainly on one flank, and the threading dial tells when to engage the half nuts. One tool covers a wide range of pitches and diameters in either hand.
There's no die that size in the shop, so single-point it on the lathe and check it with the mating nut.
