An operating mode that stops the machine after each block of G-code, so the operator presses cycle start to execute the next one. Combined with reduced rapid and feed overrides, it lets the operator check each position against the distance-to-go readout before the tool moves. It is the backbone of proving out new programs and restarting mid-program after a tool change.
