A blend of fabricate and cobble for building a bracket, guard, cart or fixture out of offcuts, old parts and creative welding instead of a drawing. The result may be ugly, but if it works it earns a grudging respect. Fabricobbled solutions are a point of pride in maintenance shops and a source of horror for quality departments.
We fabricobbled a stand for the grinder out of old bed frame angle and a brake rotor, and it's solid as a rock.
