Peripheral Component Interconnect Express. A point-to-point serial communication standard used to connect high-speed peripherals to a motherboard. Data moves through dedicated lanes consisting of differential pairs, allowing devices to negotiate link width and speed without sharing a common bus.
Make sure the NVMe drive is seated in a PCIe Gen 4 slot, not the Gen 3 one routed through the chipset.
