Wago

Brand name used for push-in and lever-style splice connectors that clamp wires without twisting.

Wago is a connector maker whose name stands on site for push-in and lever-nut splice connectors. Push-in types grip a solid conductor with a spring as it is pushed into a port, while lever types open with a small orange lever, take solid or stranded wire and snap shut to clamp it. They are fast, the lever versions are reusable, and they make neat make-ups in crowded boxes, while a clear housing shows the inspector that each conductor is fully seated.
